Instead of a book review I want to spoil you today with something else fun I discovered: The Monkey Mind podcast by Alex Butt. So today it’s a podcast review 🙂
This is a great guided meditation that will help you calm your monkey mind. It’s created by Alex Butt, the author of the book ‘A CEO, an Entrepreneur, a Tourist and the Monk’.
Alex (Wai Choon) Butt is a successful entrepreneur. He founded GLIDES Consulting to develop and coach leaders in multinational organizations to reach high-performing teams.
What’s This Podcast About?
The podcast consists of a total of 23 episodes.
In the two-part first episode the monkey mind is explained and you also get an extensive introduction to meditation. The duration of the episodes varies from 10 to 30 minutes.
Each time the focus is on a different theme with which you can start meditating. it’s an accessible fun way to get familiar with mediation and mindfulness!

I think this is a very nice podcast that doesn’t go on forever. For me, it is nice to know that there are a certain number of episodes and that I can work towards.
If you would like to get a good introduction to meditation, I can certainly recommend it.
The episodes are suitable for a moment of me-time. In a maximum of half an hour you can listen to one of them and apply the exercises that are discussed.
This podcast is worth at least 4 stars. Once you’re through it, you’ll regret that no more episodes are created!
